Justin Sylvester is still in shock over Elizabeth Hurley and Billy Ray Cyrus hard launching their relationship on Easter Sunday.
“Easter is the Lord’s day, OK? Jesus said, ‘You can have 363 [days]. I just need Easter and Christmas.’ But Elizabeth Hurley did not get the memo ‘cause she used Easter to hard-launch her new relationship,” Sylvester, 38, said on the Monday, April 21, episode of Today’s Jenna and Friends. “And you guys will never guess with who. Billy Ray, Miley Cyrus’ dad, Cyrus. Can you believe this?’”
Hurley and Cyrus, 63, made their relationship Instagram official on Sunday, April 20, after posting a sweet snap of the two celebrating Easter together. Jenna Bush Hager added that she couldn’t believe the news either — and Sylvester continued to share his opinion on Hurley, 59, and Cyrus’ surprising romance.
“First of all, it came out of left field, but I blame Nicole Kidman for this,” the TV host joked. “I blame Nicole Kidman. I’m blaming her.”

Sylvester explained that Kidman’s relationship with husband Keith Urban opened up the dating pool for big stars and country music artists.
“Back in the day, actors dated actors. Sometimes they dated rock stars, but they never dated country musicians. Nicole Kidman went to Nashville and found the holy grail,” he said. “She found herself a country man who was simple, he just wanted bourbon, he wanted to be on a tractor, he wanted to watch a movie, and she was like, ‘Keith, get over here.’ And then, all of a sudden, you have Gwen [Stefani] and Blake [Shelton].”
In addition to being aghast over Hurley and Cyrus’ relationship, Sylvester brought up the major Easter egg the actress dropped about her new romance weeks before making it public knowledge.
“We should’ve known this was happening, and I’m sorry. I was off because I was celebrating the Lord. But Elizabeth Hurley posted a little Easter egg earlier this month,” he said. “She posted this bikini video and she was using a Billy Ray Cyrus song in the background.”
Earlier this month, Hurley posted a video of her in a bikini on a beach in The Maldives. As she looked into the camera, the actress blew a kiss to the camera. The clip was set to Cyrus’ song “She’s Not Cryin’ Anymore” and the singer was tagged in the post.
Sylvester then theorized that the person taking the video must have been a “straight” man based on the “camera angles.”

“Gay men have the angles,” he quipped. “Straight men are like this, ‘Yeah, babe. You look great babe. How many more of these, babe?’”
Bush Hager shared that Sylvester might be onto something but she defended straight men who can take a decent photo.
“Yes, I think you’re probably correct, but I will say, you can train your straight man to take good photos,” she said. “It’s been done.”
